What You Can Do With the Database

Contacting the companies on this database is a great
way to start or increase your exports to the USA.
- send a personalized sales letter or a brochure by mail/post to each company on your list. Our research showed this to be the best and most effective way to introduce your product and find new buyers.
- if the e-mail address is included on the database (not all companies list it) you can send them an e-mail message. (Note: Sending an e-mail message is not a good way to market your product. US importers rarely buy from SPAM e-mail messages.)
- if the web site address is included on the database you can view their web site and send them a message through their site,
- if the web site address is not included you can look up the company name on an internet search engine (Google, Yahoo) and then send them a message through their site,
- send a fax to each company on your list (Note: you MUST get their permission before sending a fax. Sending unsolicited faxes is illegal), or
- telephone each company on your list.
